Long Beach Fire Department Observed Independence Day

Long Beach, N.Y. — July 4 — The City of Long Beach New York Fire Department, located at 1 W. Chester St., celebrated Independence Day and the United States' 250th anniversary alongside locals and tourists. The celebration honored the commitment of firefighters, EMS workers, law enforcement officers, and military people who stayed on duty throughout the holiday while also acknowledging the country's history.


Department representatives urged everyone to celebrate sensibly by adhering to local fireworks laws, grilling safely, and keeping an eye out for potential fire threats. During one of the busiest holidays of the year, the department's yearly Independence Day statement demonstrated its continued dedication to disaster preparedness, public safety, and safeguarding the Long Beach community.
