Lakeview Fire Department Completed Water Rescue Training

West Hempstead, N.Y. — June 27 — The Reliance Company of the Rockville Center Fire Department and the Lakeview Fire Department, located at 891 Woodfield Road, took part in an introduction water rescue training program. Members were given practical training on FOFI's water rescue capabilities, specialized tools, and operational strategies for water crises. In order to enhance victim access, responder safety, and coordinated operations in difficult situations, firefighters trained rescue procedures.


Members were also introduced to equipment that the department might use in future responses during the session. Mutual assistance relationships were reinforced, operational preparedness was improved, and firemen were kept ready for a variety of water rescue situations thanks to joint training with nearby Fourth Battalion agencies.
