Department Observed Nation’s 250th Birthday

Franklin Square, N.Y. — July 4 — As communities around the nation commemorated the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Department Franklin Square Munson FD, 841 Liberty Place, observed Independence Day. The celebration honored the country's past while emphasizing the ongoing dedication of emergency responders and volunteer firefighters to public service.


Members of the department joined the community in celebrating the American fire service's long-standing values of civic duty, cooperation, and service. The event also represented the department's continuous goal of offering community outreach, emergency response, and fire protection while upholding customs that have bound generations of volunteers together.
