On July 4, members of the East Farmingdale Volunteer Fire Company joined the community in commemorating America's 250th anniversary and Independence Day.

Firefighters encouraged everyone to celebrate responsibly with family and friends and wished locals a safe and joyful holiday. Throughout the holiday, department staff stayed prepared to handle emergencies while community members commemorated the country's historic milestone.
