Bethpage, N.Y. — July 6 — At its July department meeting, the Bethpage Fire Department, located at 225 Broadway, Bethpage, NY 11714, welcomed four new members, bolstering the volunteer force that serves the Bethpage community. The recruits started the process of finishing the firefighter training, safety education, and orientation needed for emergency response responsibilities.

In order to sustain fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services all year long, volunteer fire companies depend on fresh recruits. According to department officials, the increase strengthens a commitment to training, teamwork, and dependable service while supporting operational readiness and future workforce demands. The department is still looking for volunteers who are committed to neighborhood safety.
