Hollywood, FL - The Hollywood Fire Rescue and Beach Safety launched its cadet program with an intensive first day focused on foundational skills and operational readiness.

Cadets were introduced to program expectations, professionalism, and the chain of command, while also participating in hands-on training that included bunker gear familiarization, SCBA air pack orientation, and bunk-out drills for rapid response. Training also covered drill and ceremony fundamentals along with gear acclimation exercises designed to build confidence and endurance.

Participants demonstrated strong teamwork and commitment throughout the session, setting a solid foundation for continued development in the program.
