Ayer Fire Department Responds to 264 Calls in June

According to monthly response data published on July 2, the Ayer Fire Department responded to 264 emergency occurrences in June.
198 calls were related to medical situations; these were followed by 20 fire alarm activations, 10 station coverage assignments, 8 car crashes, and 8 alarm system failures. Additionally, lockouts, unapproved outdoor fires, downed wires, dangerous situations, and mutual aid assignments were all handled by crews.
During the month, firefighters performed two school fire and danger exercises, had three public education events, and finished forty fire prevention inspections, pre-plans, meetings, and walkthroughs in addition to emergency responses.
