Hampton Fire-Rescue Places New Ambulance 3 Into Service

Hampton Fire-Rescue placed their new 2025 Ford F-550 Ambulance 3 into operation on June 23.
The new ambulance replaces a 2018 Ford F-550 and was purchased through the department's EMS Fund, which is supported by revenue from ambulance billing for patient transportation. The vehicle will improve safety and operational readiness while strengthening the department's capacity to deliver dependable emergency medical services.
Ambulance 3 is currently stationed at the department's headquarters and will react to medical emergencies throughout the Hampton neighborhood.
