Foster Center Firefighters Completed Hands-On Drills

Foster, R.I. — July 19 — With practical exercises designed to improve firefighter skills and operational readiness, the Foster Center Volunteer Fire Company continued their training program. To stay competent for emergency situations, crews went over fundamental firefighting methods, equipment operation, communications, and coordinated response protocols. Firefighters can better prepare for wildland situations, rescue calls, structure fires, and mutual assistance responses around the region with regular training.


The department, which is located at 86 Foster Center Road, offers emergency response and fire safety services to the Foster community. Teamwork, safe working procedures, and equipment knowledge were all reinforced during the July 19 training, guaranteeing that participants would always be ready to act efficiently when emergency aid was required.
