St. Johnsbury Fire Department Marked Independence Day With Safety Message

St. Johnsbury, VT. — July 4 — While commemorating the country's 250th anniversary on Independence Day, the St. Johnsbury Fire Department remained ready to handle emergencies. By attending well run fireworks displays, monitoring smoke alarms, and maintaining a safe distance from fireworks, firefighters urged locals to enjoy responsibly. The department, which was located at 1187 Main Street, continued to offer the community fire suppression, EMS first response, technical rescue, hazardous materials response, and fire prevention services.
The department, which was established in 1843, also backed campaigns for year-round safety through public education. The department's continued dedication to safeguarding citizens while promoting safe holiday celebrations was emphasized in the July 4 message.
