After more than 28 years of service, Deputy Chief Matthew Noyes retired on July 13 and was acknowledged by Pittsfield Fire Department IAFF Local 2647.

At 7:45 a.m., Deputy Chief Noyes formally ended his career, after over thirty years of devoted service to the department and the Pittsfield community.

In addition to wishing Noyes a long, healthy, and joyful retirement, department officials congratulated him on his retirement and commended him for his years of leadership and dedication.
