After 31 years of service, Captain Jim Heath retired on July 9 and was honored by Pittsfield Fire Department IAFF Local 2647.
Heath's family and on-duty and off-duty firemen gathered at department headquarters to honor Heath's career and express gratitude for his decades of service to the Pittsfield community.
Department representatives wished Captain Heath a long, healthy, and happy future and congratulated him on his retirement.
