Monday Night Training: Limerick crews joined firefighters from Station 68, Upper Providence Fire Department at a facility in Oaks for standpipe operation training. Firefighters and juniors learned and practiced folding hoses to make a high-rise pack before taking it to the third floor of a parking garage. They stretched the hose in the stairwell and attached it to the standpipe located on the third floor. Then, firefighters and juniors took turns getting time on the nozzle, practicing nozzle techniques, and backing up each other on the hose. While cleaning up from training, Limerick was dispatched for a lift assist; Chief 51 and Assistant 51 responded.
