Hardwick, Vt. — July 7 — Following the death of his son, Christopher Bartlett, the Hardwick Fire Department sent its sympathies to Assistant Chief Charles Bartlett and his family. Christopher had a long-standing relationship with the fire department and was a well-known face at the station. He actively participated in the operations of local emergency services, frequently visited firefighters, and kept an eye on emergency radio traffic.
