Hardwick Fire Department Marked America's 250th Birthday

Hardwick, Vt. — July 4 — During Independence Day celebrations, the Hardwick Fire Department joined the community in commemorating the United States' 250th anniversary. While firemen, EMS staff, law enforcement, and mutual aid partners stayed ready to respond throughout the day, the department commended locals and guests for enjoying the holiday in a safe manner. Parades, rituals, and family gatherings honoring the nation's history and regional customs were held throughout Vermont to commemorate the country's semiquincentennial.


The Hardwick Fire Department also acknowledged the ongoing assistance of other emergency services, whose collaboration made it possible to have community celebrations in a secure setting. The community's dedication to public safety and appropriate celebration is demonstrated by the fact that the holiday ended without any significant issues.
