Next Generation Took Part in Peacham Tractor Parade

Barnet, Vt. — July 4 — Joel Haselton, Jacob LeClair, and Caitlyn Mayo were acknowledged by Barnet Fire and Rescue for their involvement in the community's yearly Peacham Tractor Parade on Independence Day. As a long-standing local custom, the parade unites locals, farmers, and community organizations to honor the region's agricultural past. The young participants were cited by department officials as instances of how the younger generation is participating in local customs and activities.


Their involvement demonstrated the value of motivating youth to support volunteerism and maintain ties to their communities. The yearly procession continued to celebrate shared customs and local heritage while fostering stronger community relationships.
