Nashua, NH - The Nashua Fire Rescue conducted hands-on fire camp training focused on fire behavior and vehicle extrication skills.

Participants received instruction on fire behavior, including stages of fire development, heat transfer, and factors influencing fire growth and spread. Demonstrations using a model structure illustrated how changing conditions impact fire dynamics.

Training also introduced vehicle extrication operations, where participants worked with hydraulic, pneumatic, and manual tools. Campers practiced using hand tools and extrication equipment to dismantle a vehicle, gaining practical experience in techniques used to rescue trapped occupants.
