Fire Camp Training Covers Ladders, Hose Operations, and SCBA Skills

Nashua, NH - The Nashua Fire Rescue conducted hands-on fire camp training focused on core fireground skills and equipment operations.


Participants trained in ground and aerial ladder operations, including raising ladders and operating the ladder truck. Engine company and water supply evolutions were also completed, with campers practicing hydrant connections, deploying hose lines, and operating nozzles.


Additional instruction included self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) familiarization, allowing participants to operate on air. The training concluded with an overview of educational opportunities in fire science and emergency services.
