Pittsburgh, PA. — June 21 — On Father's Day, the Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Company Station 217, situated at 152 Kittanning Pike, honored fathers who serve their families and the community. In recognition of the dedication of firefighter fathers who manage emergency response and household duties, the department released a tribute. Father's Day offered the fire service a chance to honor personnel whose commitment goes beyond the station and into their homes.

The celebration honored the principles of leadership, cooperation, and service that are still essential to the emergency services industry. Members of the department also conveyed gratitude for the ongoing assistance that families offer throughout each call and training session.
