On July 2, Firefighter/EMT Justin Burns was honored in the Friendship Hook & Ladder Fire Company's member spotlight.
Burns became a trained interior firefighter after joining the department in March 2010 and advancing from junior cadet to junior fireman. He currently works with Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue after earning his state EMT certification.
