During the last week of June, members of the City of Beaver Falls Fire Department blended training with community engagement.

At the city's yearly Juneteenth event at Second Avenue Playground, firefighters interacted with locals and provided refreshments to guests. Later in the week, with permission from the Beaver County Housing Authority, crews conducted standpipe operations training from the roof of the Broadhead Apartments in order to continue preparing for their Driver/Operator Pumper certification exam.
