Punta Gorda, FL - Charlotte County Fire & EMS’s Marine Operations Team continues to strengthen its capabilities through specialized training both on land and in the water. As part of ongoing professional development, members of the team participated in a required training dive while working toward Rapid Diver certification.

Under the guidance of a certified Rapid Diver Instructor, personnel completed hands-on dive training designed to enhance their skills in underwater rescue and emergency response operations. Rapid Divers are specifically trained to deploy quickly during water-related emergencies, providing critical rescue and support in complex and time-sensitive environments.
