On June 28, the East Taylor Township Volunteer Fire Company expressed gratitude to Parkhill American Legion Post 970 for giving Octavian, the nephew of Station 17 Firefighter Charlie Purelli, a specially modified bicycle.

Octavian will have more chances to enjoy leisure activities and spend time outside thanks to the bicycle. Department representatives acknowledged the Legion's ongoing dedication to providing philanthropic contributions to local citizens and community organizations.
