Tarentum, PA. — July 4 — During the Independence Day fireworks festivities, Truck 280 from the Highland Hose Volunteer Fire Company offered standby coverage, assisting in maintaining emergency response capabilities all evening. While locals gathered for holiday activities throughout the community, firefighters stayed prepared to respond. During one of the busiest evenings of the year, the department, which is located at 401 E. Eighth Ave., collaborated with nearby agencies to promote public safety.


Primary reaction areas were kept safe during fireworks displays thanks to standby assignments. The operation demonstrated the department's ongoing dedication to emergency planning, regional collaboration, and safeguarding locals during holidays and special occasions.
