The Borough Council of Easton met in 1793 to discuss the need for a Hand pumper. Three years later in 1796 a Hand pumper was ordered from Philip Mason in Philadelphia. Easton Organized its first Fire Department the Humane fire Company in February of 1791. This piece is on permanent display at the Sigal Museum in Easton.
