Driver/Operators Advance Skills During Drafting Training
Foster, RI - Members of the Foster Center Volunteer Fire Company conducted hands-on pump training with Brush 3, focusing on drafting operations from a pond to strengthen water supply capabilities.
New driver/operators were given the opportunity to refresh their knowledge and independently establish a water source, completing each task as a practical skills assessment based on prior training.
Senior members provided oversight to ensure safety, offering guidance only when necessary, while allowing participants to work through each evolution on their own.
All members demonstrated strong focus, sound technique, and continued progress, reinforcing the department’s operational readiness and commitment to ongoing training.
