Captain Paul Cunningham Retires After 22 Years of Service

On June 22, after 22 years of service to the City of Altoona, Captain Paul Cunningham finished his last shift and was acknowledged by the Altoona Fire Fighters IAFF Local 299.


Throughout his career, Cunningham worked for the department in a number of emergency response and leadership capacities, coaching other firemen and promoting community safety. Members of the department expressed gratitude to him for his commitment and hard work over the course of more than 20 years of public service.


IAFF Local 299 of the Altoona Fire Fighters wishes Captain Cunningham well in all of his future undertakings.
