In its weekly member spotlight, the City of Beaver Falls Fire Department honored Firefighter Nathan Abbott for his nearly twenty years of fire service.

Abbott started working as a fireman in 2005 with the Rochester Township Fire Department. Later, while in college, he worked as a live-in firefighter in Monroeville. In 2016, he joined the Aliquippa Fire Department; in 2021, he became a fire instructor in Pennsylvania; and in 2024, he joined the Beaver Falls Fire Department.

Abbott's experience, devotion, and drive to professional growth, according to department officials, continue to benefit the agency and the community it serves.
