Fairfield, Pa. — July 8 — The Fountaindale Volunteer Fire Department, located at 1340 Old Waynesboro Road, carried out their yearly hose, ladder, and pump testing to ensure the apparatus was still prepared for emergency response. The testing was conducted at Blue Ridge Fire & Rescue, which donated the facilities and parking space. After testing was over, volunteers and firefighters moved equipment, examined everything, and finished cleanup.

Before pumps, hoses, and ground ladders are put back into service, annual inspections help ensure that they adhere to operating and safety regulations. The incident demonstrated the department's continued dedication to readiness, equipment upkeep, and trustworthy emergency response.
