Port Republic, N.J. — June 21 — In honor of Father's Day, the Department Port Republic Volunteer Fire Company, located at 116 Blakes Lane, honored fathers and father figures for their contributions to families and the community. Throughout the year, the department recognized volunteer firefighters who juggled training, public service, emergency response, and family obligations.

Additionally, mentors who promoted cooperation and strengthened the volunteer fire service were acknowledged in the message. The department's dedication to community engagement beyond emergency response was demonstrated by the event.
