On June 30, Bolton Fire Department personnel trained in water rescue at Bolton Lake to improve their emergency response skills.
In order to find submerged individuals during water rescue operations, firefighters trained with the AquaEye, an advanced sonar instrument, and launched Marine 134. Improving search methods and making sure workers are ready to act swiftly and safely in an emergency were the main goals of the exercise.
