According to its monthly bulletin published in July, the Old Mystic Fire Department handled 143 service requests in June.

With 77 EMS calls, emergency medical situations made up the largest portion of replies. Ten fire calls, seven rescue or auto accidents, two hazardous materials events, thirty-two other incidents, four false alarms, four no-fire calls, four good intent calls, and three service calls were all handled by firefighters.
