Seventy Firefighters Attend Mayday Leadership Course in Mystic

With assistance from Connecticut Region 4 Fire Services, the Old Mystic Fire Department held the Commanding the Firefighter Mayday program at the Hilton Mystic on June 20.
In order to improve command-level responsiveness during firefighter mayday events, 70 firemen and fire officers from Connecticut and Rhode Island participated in the training. Chief Brian Kazmierzak, who went from Michigan to oversee the program, delivered the course.
