On June 14, Bridgeport Fire Chief Edwards and Bridgeport Fire Department personnel took part in the Juneteenth Parade at Seaside Park.
Firefighters recognized the significance of Juneteenth and celebrated freedom, togetherness, and the city's shared history alongside local officials, community members, and event attendees. Residents came together to celebrate the event and its enduring significance through the procession.
