On June 11, Bridgeport Fire Chief Edwards and Police Chief Porter appeared on WICC 600's Power Hour broadcast from Frankie's Diner to talk about future community events and public safety.
While responding to community inquiries, the chiefs provided information on fire safety, motor vehicle safety, and pedestrian safety. The event was a part of the yearly WICC Diner Tour, which allows local public safety officials to interact with locals.
Department representatives expressed gratitude to Melissa and the WICC team for the invitation and expressed excitement about returning the next year.
