Bridgewater Fire Department Responds to 438 Calls in June

The Bridgewater Fire Department gave Boy Scouts Troop 31 and Pack 31 a tour and fire safety instruction during the last week of June.
Firefighter Gunnarson gave the scouts an overview of the department's fire apparatus and described each vehicle's purpose as well as the equipment carried for emergency reactions. He also discussed fire safety precautions and community-wide safety programs.
In addition to helping the scouts in their pursuit of the Fire Safety Merit Badge, the tour allowed them to observe local firefighters in action.
