Firefighter Eben Beauchene was honored by the East Brooklyn Fire Department on July 7 for passing Firefighter 1 training.
Beauchene became qualified as an interior fireman after completing the Back to Basics certification course. In order to prepare firemen for inside structure firefighting operations, the training comprised both classroom instruction and practical skills.
