Coconut Creek, FL - The Coconut Creek Fire Rescue welcomed three new hires as they progressed through Fire Academy recruit training.

The training emphasized fundamental firefighting and rescue skills, including hose line advancement, surface water rescue, ground ladder operations, and VEIS (Vent, Enter, Isolate, and Search) techniques. Recruits participated in practical, scenario-based evolutions designed to build coordination, situational awareness, and operational efficiency.

These hands-on drills play a critical role in developing the skills and confidence required to perform effectively on the fireground and during emergency incidents.
