Hurst battery-powered rescue equipment was demonstrated by State Line Fire & Safety Inc. on June 10 at the Ho-Ho-Kus Volunteer Fire Department. Using the newest rescue tools, firefighters practiced vehicle extrication tactics on a donated automobile. Members were able to get hands-on experience using battery-operated instruments that are frequently utilized in auto accidents.
