Despite the gloomy weather, Minerva Volunteer Fire Department members conducted their weekly training on June 23rd, honing critical fireground abilities.

Officials said firefighters rehearsed pulling and advancing hose lines while also working on procedures for backing up the nozzle firefighter during fire attack operations. The hands-on practice stressed teamwork, communication, and efficient hose handling to improve efficacy during emergency situations.
