Minerva Fire Department Assists LifeNet Medical Helicopter Response

During a major medical emergency on June 5th, members of the Minerva Volunteer Fire Department helped the Johnsburg Emergency Squad by setting up a landing zone for LifeNet of New York.
According to officials, the landing zone was secured by firefighters, enabling the medical helicopter to safely land and transfer a critically injured patient to a hospital with state-of-the-art medical care. The patient had prompt access to expert treatment thanks to the combined efforts of the fire, emergency medical services, and air medical crews.
