Binghamton, NY - After weeks of intensive training, Binghamton Fire Department’s recruit class reached its final milestone—live fire evolutions at the Fred Singer Vestal Training Facility.

Recruits put their full skill set to the test, from SCBA and ladder work to hose operations, search techniques, forcible entry, ventilation, and firefighter survival. The live burns brought together months of classroom and hands-on training in realistic fireground conditions.
