Pleasantville, NJ - Pleasantville Fire Department’s Fire Cadet Camp continued with another demanding day of hands-on instruction alongside firefighters.

Following physical training, cadets rotated through multiple skill stations designed to build confidence and real-world readiness. Evolutions included hose deployment, flowing water, hydrant operations, and radio communications.

Cadets also completed a search and rescue drill while wearing full firefighter gear, simulating real fireground conditions. The day concluded with training in life-saving first aid and CPR, reinforcing the critical role firefighters play in both rescue and emergency medical care.
