Wildwood, N.J. — June 3 — The City of Wildwood Fire Department, 4400 New Jersey Ave., congratulated Josh Carter following his official appointment to chief of the North Wildwood Fire Department during the June 3 council meeting. Carter gained control of the department while it continued providing fire protection, rescue and emergency response services to the community.

The City of Wildwood Fire Department wished Carter well in his new position and acknowledged the elevation as a significant leadership milestone. Through mutual assistance responses, training, and regional operations throughout Cape May County, Wildwood and North Wildwood firemen consistently collaborated, maintaining a solid collaboration in servicing locals and tourists.
