Wildwood Crest, N.J. — June 3 — Chief Josh Carter was recognized on his promotion to head the North Wildwood Fire Department by the Wildwood Crest Volunteer Fire Department, located at 7100 Pacific Ave. The announcement emphasized the close collaboration between the adjacent departments and acknowledged Carter's new leadership position. Firefighters from Wildwood Crest and North Wildwood frequently collaborated on training exercises, regional emergency operations throughout Cape May County, and mutual aid incidents.
