Crystal River, FL - Firefighter Colby Koenig of B Shift has built his career through dedication and continuous growth in the fire service.

Starting as a volunteer, he went on to earn his Florida EMT and Firefighter II certifications before joining Crystal River Fire Department. He has since progressed from a part-time role to a full-time career firefighter.

Colby is also a strong advocate for fitness and readiness, leading workouts and encouraging training within his crew.
