The department's new Car 5 was put into duty by Morristown FMBA 43 members on June 29th, and it was promptly used in an emergency response.
The command car reacted to an incident involving a vehicle that impacted a downtown storefront within two days of going into operation, according to officials. While aiding at the scene and managing the response, members of Tour 3 made use of the new unit.
