At the annual Ghostbusters Day celebration on June 6, personnel of the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) greeted fans from all over the world to Ladder 8 in Tribeca.

According to officials, the fan-led fundraiser, which was organized in collaboration with the FDNY Foundation, included exclusive goods, live entertainment, fire safety education, and special guests. While touring the historic firehouse made famous by the Ghostbusters movies, visitors also had the chance to acquire crucial fire safety advice.

According to department leaders, the yearly event strengthens community involvement, advances public fire safety education, and supports the goals of the FDNY Foundation.
