FDNY Honors Newly Promoted EMS Officers at Brooklyn Ceremony

At a ceremony held at FDNY Headquarters in Brooklyn on June 2, personnel of the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) were elevated to senior roles within the department's EMS Bureau.


Members were elevated to the positions of Captain, Division Chief, Deputy Chief, and Deputy Assistant Chief, according to officials. The recently promoted officers will work in units around New York City, supervising emergency medical operations, providing assistance to staff, and assisting in the development of future EMS leaders. Paul Miano, Chief of EMS Operations, stressed the value of mentoring, leadership, and helping department members succeed throughout the ceremony.
