The Ner Tamid Society of the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) took part in the yearly Israel Day Parade in Manhattan on June 1st.
According to officials, society members supported a long-standing cultural festival and represented the department by marching with thousands of participants at the yearly community event. Residents, first responders, and community organizations came together for the parade to honor ties to the community and shared heritage.
